You only have to figure it out once.

When you're looking for help in your business, you want to focus on impacting your clients but also impacting your team.

Even if you're already a successful business owner, Kira puts a huge emphasis on helping anybody. Successful entrepreneurs are usually the ones that don't want help but deep down, need help growing their team.

You can make such a HUGE impact with just the way you manage your team. Kira wants everybody to know that you don't have to do it all as an online business owner. Just because you want help, doesn't mean you're any less worthy.

Hiring and growing your team is only complicated in the beginning. Once you have it figured out, it's a rinse and repeat process! I mean seriously, look at bookkeeping for example. The system is the hardest part and it's SO much harder to fix a broken system.

My advice: Stop thinking about the worst-case scenario. By doing that, you're putting a strong ceiling on your ability to grow as a business.

Treat your team how you would want to be treated.

It's so simple…

Don't be a bad employer and pay your team what you would expect to be paid. Build trust with them so that you can grow your business together in a much easier way than it would be alone.

You should always be empowering, educating, and explaining things to your team. Let them ask questions because guess what? That is SUCH a good sign! It shows that they are analyzing tasks enough and not just skimming through them.

Kira says that one of the best ways you can be a good boss is to highlight within your H.R policies what it looks like to be a good employee so that those policies can be the bad cop when it's time to manage people into a role.

Setting policies also gives your team the structure in knowing what to do when situations do come up.

Figure out what you need and take action on it.

Kira says that you can always take smaller actions as you are training the person. Don't just hire a person, throw some random policies together, and wait for them to quit. You have to make sure that you're working on the growth of your business within the hiring process.

When Kira got her very first client, that's when she hired someone to help her because she wanted to see things delegate so that she can continue to push the needle.

That’s EXACTLY what she wants to see more women do. It's going to be hard but be brave so that your business doesn't suffer. If you truly want to lean on someone within your business, have it be an employee.

See where your business needs help and take action on it. If you plan on reaching a big goal as an online business owner, having employees under your belt will be the best thing for you!
